Digidentity is used by the UK government and offers internet users their own online identity.
The Digidentity technology is embedded within the Smartr365 platform and provides fast identification so financial advisers are able to move quickly through the mortgage application processes.
Conor Murphy, director of Smartr365 and Capricorn Financial, a mortgage brokerage for high-net-worth clients, said: "We're delighted to be partnering with Digidentity to be able to offer our advisers new software that will benefit them and their customers.
"We scanned the market for the best identification verification processes and Digidentity were an easy choice to make. Customer security is the cornerstone of the Smartr365 solution.
"Recently, we announced a partnership with Callcredit, further enhancing the service the Smartr365 platform provides and Callcredit is able to offer comprehensive affordability insight enabling us to build a more complete and timely picture of an applicant.
"From there our advisers can check the value of their client's home to make sure the deal fits from that perspective too, and then submit the application to the lender and to the relevant solicitor.
"The adviser, client and any introducer involved, can track the progress of the application right through to completion. This massively shortens the time taken to process a mortgage, whilst also removing most of the pitfalls from the process and increasing the likelihood of completion.
"We have used the Smartr365 platform for many years within Capricorn and the addition of the Digidentity functionality to this is a major game-changer for us."
Marcel Wendt, founder and CTO of Digidentity, added: "With our passion for innovation we are delighted to become part of the Smartr365 technology platform. Our goal is to simplify everyone's online life together with Smartr365 to empower better financial decisions and planning for their clients."
