Digidentity is the identity service supplier for the Pensions Dashboards Programme.

On 1 February 2022, Digidentity signed a contract with the Pensions Dashboards Programme (PDP) to deliver identity services as part of the central digital architecture that will drive pensions dashboards.

As identity services supplier, Digidentity will enable individuals to access their pensions information securely. Last year alone, Digidentity protected the digital identity of more than 20 million people and is delighted to deliver a high-quality identity service to the PDP as well. The contract will run for two years.

This contract is a big milestone for PDP, as it completes the procurement of the major elements of the central digital architecture. The identity services supplied by Digidentity will be integrated by PDP with the rest of the digital architecture during the coming weeks.

Identity verification is an important element in the development of pension dashboards. By affirming that both pension providers and future dashboard users are who they say they are, PDP can protect the digital identities and the data that comes with them. Only individuals who have their identity confirmed online through the identification service supplied by Digidentity can view their pension information.
