A POC is a digital certificate based on Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) technology. It allows you to securely sign electronic documents in your own name and on behalf of your organisation. It plays a crucial role in enhancing the integrity and authenticity of digital communications. The certificate can only be issued by a trusted Certificate Authority (CA).
What can I do with a Personal Organisation Certificate?

POC Registration in Steps
Registration for the Personal Organisation Certificate occurs by invitation from an administrator. If you do not yet have an administrator within your organisation, you or a colleague can first register for the company administrator product.
If there is no Digidentity company administrator for your organisation yet, you or your colleague can register here. All you need is a valid identification document and your phone.
During the registration, you can verify your identity remotely by taking a selfie and scanning your document with our mobile app. If you are not a legal representative according to the Chamber of Commerce, an authorisation can be issued with an automatically generated authorization letter during the registration.
After completing the registration for the company administrator product, you will gain access to your organisation's Self Service Portal (SSP). Through the SSP, you can invite employees for the Personal Organisation Certificate. If you need this certificate yourself, you can easily send the invitation to your own email address.
The person to whom the invitation for the Personal Organization Certificate is sent will receive an invitation link via email. If the employee has not previously completed identification with Digidentity, they can identify themselves remotely within a few minutes. After that, the POC can be used immediately as a digital signature.
